- academic achievement test used for admission to four year colleges across
the nation.
AP Exams - Advanced Placement tests given for students
in specific classes to provide an opportunity for college credit.
ASVAB - Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery is
a test given by the military that assesses aptitudes and predicts performance
in academic and occupational areas.
College Fairs - regional programs of post-secondary vendors
to provide information for juniors, seniors and their parents.
Financial Aid Night - a program to help understand the
financial aid process.
PLAN - a practice ACT test designed to help sophomores
assess their strengths, weaknesses, interests, and needs.
PSAE - a test designed to measure how well students
are meeting the state goals for learning. It is a combination of the
ACT Plus Writing, WorkKeys, and an Illinois State Board of Education-developed
science test.
PSAT/NMSQT - PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying
Test is a practice SAT test for sophomores and juniors and a scholarship
qualifying test for juniors.
