Hello, My name is Josie Carman and I am one of the Pre-K Teachers at Highland Primary. I graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood and received my Early Childhood Special Education Certificate from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. 

I grew up in Greenville and moved back there after college. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, and playing with my nieces!

Hi! My name is Katie Hanlon and I am a Pre-K teacher. I attended SWIC on a full scholarship for soccer, which still remains one of my passions, and received my Associates Degree there. I then moved on to SIUE where I got my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and Letter of Approval in Special Education. I recently completed my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Design from Maryville University. 

I was born and raised in Highland and have always felt like this was home for me, that is why I am so happy to be back at Highland Primary as a teacher! I love watching my students learn and grow through play and exploration.

Hi! My name is Nicole Zuccarelli, and I couldn't be more excited to be teaching here at Highland Primary! I grew up in the small town of Arcola, Illinois, but have lived in Highland since 2014. I graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and earned my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education with a specialization in Early Childhood Special Education. I absolutely love to teach and feel so fortunate that I get to help your children learn and grow here at HP!

My husband and I have two young kiddos and a 90 pound fur baby that keep us busy with their many activities! I enjoy cooking, going on adventures, watching my daughter dance, playing in the backyard with my son, spending time outside, and hosting gatherings for family and friends!
