Save the date- Financial Aid/ FAFSA parent night.
September 23, 2025 6:30pm
School Counselors will give a brief overview of financial aid and how to locate our local scholarship database. Then our local ISAC representative will give a thorough explanation of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Completing the FAFSA during senior year is a state of Illinois graduation requirement.

Club day 2025! We had an impressive 22 clubs and groups represented. The students did a great job, not only with table set ups and signage, but with speaking to other students and recruitment.

Homecoming T-shirts, worn on the Monday of Spirit Week, are now on sale! 9th & 10th graders wear LIGHT blue and 11th & 12th graders wear NAVY blue. Highland Volleyball finishes with a 2-0 win over Johnston City at the Carbondale Tourney. The team went 4-0 in pool play on the day and now has a record of 7-1.

Lady Bulldog Volleyball takes down Anna Jonesboro 2-0 at the Carbondale Tourney. Next up is Johnston City at 5pm.

College and Career Parent Night- September 16, 2025- 6:30pm- HHS Commons
Students and parents are invited to join your school counselors for an overview of college planning and the admissions process. We will also host a panel of college admission representatives who will share tips and tricks for college admissions.
This presentation is designed for juniors and seniors but all families are welcome.
