Huge Congratulations to Senior Hunter Fridley! We are incredibly proud to announce that out of 12 Madison County high schools, Hunter Fridley has been named the first-ever HHS student to receive the 2025 Madison County CTE Student of the Year award. #CTEMadisonCounty #StudentOfTheYear

On Thursday, April 24th, HHS Student Council hosted the 7th annual Bulldog Appreciation Awards. We were honored to recognize 43 students for their positive impact on the HHS community! We would also like to congratulate Mrs. Brenda Korte and Mrs. Amy Cope for receiving the Kirk Essenpreis Award for their Bulldog spirit, dedication to students, and positive leadership at HHS. Congrats to all!

Happy Administrative Professional's Day! Today, we celebrate the four people who provide constant support for our students and staff at HHS. If you see them today, let them know how much you appreciate their hard work and their dedication to HHS 🐾❤️


Waterloo defeated Highland 8-3 on Monday taking the lead in bottom of the 6th. Highland lead 3-2 in the 6th inning when Waterloo rallied for the victory.
Down 2-0 early, Highland fought back after Lucy Becker and Kamryn Leckrone singled to drive in runs. Another run was scored as Kaitlyn Wilson reached on an error.
Wilson pitched well against state ranked Waterloo and kept Highland in the game striking out 5. Gracie Nikonovich, Holly Sexton, Becker, Hailey Ritz 2B, Leckrone, and Paige Wernle grabbed hits for Highland.
Triad visits on Wednesday at 4:30 PM for an MVC battle.


Our annual Coffeehouse Cabaret is happening on April 23!
A big shoutout to Scooter’s Coffee in Highland for generously donating their delicious coffee for the evening.
Tickets are just $5 at the door and include one cup of coffee and a dessert. We can’t wait to see you there!
