Ms. Simmons' Class weighing beans to simulate matter in an atom. They use the beans to have a hands on approach to a non hands on theory. This helps to bring Chemistry to life.
Mrs. Jody Hall offers CPR lessons to a 10th grade Health class. The course offers certification for students and a valuable skill to help others in case of an emergency. Hall is the PE/Health Department Chair and sponsors Snowball, a positive choices and prevention group at HHS.
Mrs. Jodie Ramsey works with Honors Biology students to discuss and review lab equipment and safety protocols. Students then take a safety quiz on Chromebooks.
Ramsey, an HHS graduate, is the Science Department Chair and also coaches the Frosh/Soph Volleyball team.

Mrs. Shannon Wesselmann leads the A Capella choir with accompanist, Mr. David Wilton, during class this morning. Wesselmann begins her 1st year at HHS after spending a year in Missouri. She is a Highland graduate and is thrilled to be back home. Wesselmann once performed as a Madrigal singer on high school and will now lead the way for our students with shows in December.
