Highland High School conducted a safety check and search today, and there were several different police units outside the building. No major concerns were found and school has resumed to the normal schedule. Thank you to everyone for keeping our schools safe.

Students built, designed, and taught their way to the stage at the Madison County CTE Showcase. Students placed 1st in carpentry, 2nd in ECE overall and 3rd in K-12 Education overall competitions.

With the help of Highland Optimist Club members, the Highland Junior Optimist club raised $138 to buy personal hygiene items to donate to the HACSM Food Pantry.
A big thank you goes out to Highland Family Dentistry for adding to the donation by gifting toothbrushes, toothpaste, and floss.

Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors will all have attendance days tomorrow for testing. We ask that all students get a good night's rest, have a healthy breakfast and come tomorrow ready to do their best. Testing should not be stressful, but should be taken seriously. Once testing is completed tomorrow, all students will be able to leave. Almost all students will have their testing completed around 1:00 PM. Students with accommodations may be longer.
The most important thing for all students to do is make sure CHROMEBOOKS are CHARGED. Please help your students remember to charge their Chromebooks tonight so they will be ready to go tomorrow.
Students need to bring charged Chromebooks and be on time- 7:30am- as they can not be admitted into test rooms after testing has started.
