Congratulations to the Varsity Boys Soccer team on their 3-2 victory over Marquette. They will play against Triad at 6pm on Friday at Gordon Moore Park.





Students in Mr. Holts’s Economics class draw graphs related to supply and demand based on a variety of scenarios. They explore cost, quantity, equilibrium and make predictions. Students share and discuss their graphs with the class.





Highland student's participated in The Great Shakeout , which coordinates an Earthquake drill, and then they did an evacuation drill to the Football Stadium. The students, faculty, and staff did a great job in practicing the evacuation procedure.



Students in Mrs. Offerman’s Intro to Ag class learn about official dress for FFA events. Several students will participate in the National Convention in Indianapolis next week and the Veterans Day Assembly in November.





Students in Mrs. Raymond’s Ag Science class complete a project on Soil Degradation to present to the class. They research four types of erosion and explain how they affect the environment in different ways.





Students in Mrs. Case’s 1st hour band practice scales and various parts of their ILMEA show. Case offers simple feedback after each warmup piece to help improve play. They’re sounding wonderful this morning!





Students in Mrs. Keys’ 1st hour band practice scales and various songs for the upcoming concert next week. After playing, Keys asks the students to talk with their neighbor to identify areas of strength and weakness. They’re sounding fantastic!

The Chorus Concert concludes with the Highland Show Choir, under the direction of Mr David Wilton. It was a great show by all the groups. Highland has incredibly talented students and great directors in Mr Gibb-Clark and Mr Wilton.
