Mrs. Natalie Propst, HHS Nurse, works with FMCC students to discuss current opportunities, happenings, and events in the medical field. The Future Medical Careers Club prepares students who are interested in medical field after graduation.

This holiday season the HHS Athletic Council, PAC, and Triad are teaming up to fundraise for the Metro East Humane Society. Our fundraiser concludes as Highland Boys Basketball hosts Triad on December 17.

HHS Counselors pay a visit to a sophomore English class to review college and career options using Nearpod. Nearpod is an interactive online educational platform used to engage students in a collaborative fashion.




The Highland High School Model United Nations students participated in McKendree University’s fall conference on November 15th and 16th. HHS students represented delegations from Angola, Vietnam, Israel, and Algeria.





There is a Winter Sport Parent Meeting at 6pm on Tuesday, November 16 at 6pm in the Commons. Each family should send one representative for each winter athlete. Boys basketball, wrestling and bowling will have a sport specific parent meeting after the group meeting at 6:30pm.

Congratulations to the boy’s bowling team who took 1st place in the silver division at the Zach McClure Invitational. Logan Oestringer placed 16th and Hunter Hediger placed 8th individually.


The Fall Play, Voices from the High School, kicked off tonight with an amazing performance in front of a full house. The cast, crew and director Matthew Lewis were fantastic all around. Check out Saturday’s show at 7pm at HHS.
