What's better than one ugly sweater? Ugly Sweater X 2. Ms. Korte and Mr. Elledge twinning in their matching ugly sweaters. It's "breathtaking".

One of our students, Paul, was waiting in the office before heading home today. While waiting, he was able to follow along on Google Meets with his Geometry teacher, Mr. Joel Hawkins, who was teaching in-person and live-streaming to remote learners. Pretty fantastic. Hawkins, who starting teaching at Highland in 1985, probably never dreamed he would instruct this way. In ‘85, he was likely using an overhead projector and chalk. Our teachers and students continue to adapt during the pandemic in many ways and we are so proud of them. Although it’s not been perfect during the pandemic and we continue to face challenges, our teachers, students, school, and community continue to step up.
