Varsity Baseball was defeated by Effingham 8-7.
We had a blast at senior sunset last night! It was great to see the seniors come out and hang out under the stadium lights one last time. We enjoyed music, games, & lots of food before watching the sun go down. Thank you to everyone who came out, and thank you to our sponsors, Mrs. Buchtel, Mrs. Case, and Mrs. Huson, for putting together the event.

Our seniors had one last breakfast at HHS this morning. Congratulations Class of 2021! And a big thank you to Mrs.Jones and Mrs. Heinz for organizing a wonderful event for our students.

Highland defeats Jerseyville 4-0. Sam Miener pitches 7 strong innings allowed 2 hits struck out 8. Offensively Maggie Grohmann had a 3 run HR. Emma Strubinger was 2/3 with a double.
Varsity Boys Baseball beats Jersey tonight 5-0. Matt Misick with a complete game shutout. JV Bulldogs Baseball beat Jersey 6-1. Austin Werner led the way, throwing a 1 hitter for the bulldogs. Freshman boys baseball beats Jersey 7-1. That’s a bulldog baseball conference sweep.

Highland defeats Waterloo 3-1. Sam Miener pitched 7 innings allowing 4 hits striking out 10. Maci Miles led the offense with 2 hits scoring a run and had an RBI. Sophie Parkerson also had a hit and scored. JV fell 7-2.
