Freshman Day Orientation for the Class of 2024! It was great to see our students. We social distanced, conducted health screening and temperature checks upon arrival, wore our masks, received class schedules, and learned about school life at HHS. The students were fantastic!

Reminder to all Freshman Parents, we have Freshman Day from 9:30-11:15 at HHS. Students with last names from A-M will use the Commons Entrance, and Students with names from N-Z will use the bus entrance. We are excited to see all of our new Freshman.
The Highland High School Teacher' Lot will be closed on Wednesday, August 5th from 7:00 AM-4:00 PM for painting and repairs. Please park in the student lot west of the building if you are coming to HHS.
HHS Department Chairs and Admin conducting a planning meeting today. Whether your student is an in-person or remote learner, we’re working hard to get our students back to school in a safe manner. More information will be shared with students and parents later this week regarding reopening plans and procedures. We can’t wait to see the class of 2024 on Tuesday, Aug. 4th, from 9:30-11:15 for Freshman Day!

Ladies trying out for golf, please make sure you have a current physical and COVID-19 waiver on file for tryouts.
-The school calendar has been amended so that the first student attendance day is August 17th.
-August 13th and 14th are now remote learning planning days for staff only. -Access to Powerschool has been delayed from August 7th to August 10th to allow additional time to process remote learning requests.
-Class rosters/lists will be available on August 10th.
-Paper schedules will NOT be available for student pick up on August 5,6, or 7

Fall sports tryouts will begin on August 10 for girls/boys golf, girls/boys cross country, and girls tennis. Athletes need to register on the HHS Athletics website and have a current sports physical on file. Tryout information will be provided after sports registration.
