HHS Counselors Mary Jackson, Amber Spaeth, and Carrie Lieberman meet with students behind the scenes to prepare for the 21-22 school year. Counselors meet individually with students to help select courses for the upcoming school year. Face to face interactions are so important.



Highland High School senior, Spencer Powers, was awarded a $200 scholarship after finishing 2nd place at the VFW Voice of Democracy Essay Contest last month. This year’s prompt asked, “Is this the country the founding fathers had envisioned?”

Students in PE classes are still able to participate as they wear masks, wash hands, and sanitize equipment after use. Today we see some floor hockey being played in Mrs. Hayes’ class.
