Your Highland Bulldog Girls Basketball team defeated the Collinsville Kahoks this afternoon in an exciting game. The girls seemed to be draining threes all day, and Meg Kronk led the team with four 3-pointers in a row during the first half and finished it out with her fifth 3-pointer in the second half. Taylor, Brown, Kesner, and Klucker also got in on the 3-point action. The girls have just a few games left this season, so be sure to catch a game. Their senior night is Thursday, February 13th against Mascoutah; we’d love to pack the gym for these girls, so put it in your calendar and spread the word! Highland Dance just completed their State Final Dance Routine. By all accounts it was their best performance of the year and they left it all on the floor. Congrats to Coach Cotto, Coach Eilerman and the entire Dance Team on a wonderful season.

More 100th Day Celebration!
Therapy dogs visited HHS today as Carla and Nancy came in with Spirit and Liberty, both goldendoodles. Both are members of a national therapy dog organization through the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. The visit was coordinated by Mrs. Tebbe and Mrs. Mantz.

Today we celebrate the 100th Day of School at HHS! All students and staff received a Gus’ Pretzel Stick fresh from St Louis. A great way to finish up January as we push forward in the semester!
