The Bulldog Grounds Coffee Shop is coming along in the library as the STEP Grant has allowed for upgrades. It’s an amazing space for students and faculty, and provides job opportunities for students. Mrs. Stirewalt sponsors the program.

A big shout out to Kurt Vonder Haar, his boys, and others who helped clean the lot today! What a great lesson showing that a small act of kindness has a huge impact. Let’s keep it going as these gestures make our community what it is.

HHS English teachers Mrs. Huson, Mrs. Bland, Mrs. Case, and Mrs. Ruder spent the day at a PD workshop with education expert Kelly Gallagher. They are excited to learn, share, and bring ideas back to the classroom. Proud of them!

Good evening and I hope you’re enjoying your summer! A quick note regarding continued trash left in the HHS parking lot. Although it’s likely just a few individuals and perhaps not even HHS students, custodians must drive the lot each morning to clean up, and that’s not fair to them. Plus, it just looks bad when driving by on Troxler. For those not involved with this issue, please disregard.
Thanks for taking pride in your school and community and keeping things clean! We appreciate it and our custodians appreciate it. Be safe and see you August 14th!
Sincerely, Dr. Chris A. Becker.
