
Highland Girls Soccer defeated Waterloo in double overtime and penalty kicks. The tie goal came from a flying header from Payton Frey. Sophia Fleming made 27 saves and two saves during penalty kicks. This brings their record to 8-4.

The Lady Bulldogs came from behind and knocked off Waterloo tonight behind Kaitlyn Wilson's 7 inning 14 K performance and Abby Shultz's 3-run blast to left field in the bottom of 6. Wilson closed it out in the 7th for a 3-1 victory
The Bulldogs smacked 5 hits on the day with Alex Schultz, Abby Schultz, Hailey Ritz, Kaitlyn Wilson, and Lucy Becker reaching safely. Highland is 7-6 and 3-0 in the MVC and travel to Triad on Wednesday for a 4:30 game.

The Highland Girls Soccer team defeated Breese Central on Saturday, bringing their record to 7-4. Goals came from Peyton Beard and Mady Roach. Assists came from Madison Emig and Maddie Molitor.


Home Game Monday


The Bulldogs pounded out 13 hits and 11 runs to beat Marion 11-5 in game two on Saturday. Alex Howard struck out 6 in four innings of work on the mound. @GarrinStone stayed hot with 4 hits and 3 RBIs, @ChaseKnebel with 2 hits and 2 RBIs and @TreyKoishor with 2 hits and 1 RBI.


@GarrinStone had three hits and his first varsity home run today to lead the Bulldogs to an 8-3 win in game one of a twin billing against Marion. Highland scored 5 runs in the 9th inning to secure the extra inning win. @ChaseKnebel added 3 hits and 2 RBIs in the game.


Lady Bulldog Softball battled hard Saturday falling to Johnston City 1-0 in a pitchers dual over 8 innings (ITB). Highland pitcher Kaitlyn Wilson was dominant all day tallying 14 strikeouts and only 5 hits. Tallying hits for the Bulldogs were Jordan Bircher, Abby Schultz, Lucy Becker, Hailey Ritz, and Bailey Mettler. The team is now 6-6 and hosts Waterloo on Monday at 4:30pm in an MVC matchup.

HHS CEO Students participated in the Investor Breakfast. They were on a panel answering questions and gave a 30 second pitch of their individual businesses. We are so proud and impressed with the growth they have experienced in this program

The first HHS Color Guard Open Gym was a success! Thank you to all students who came out to try something new and to parents for supporting them! Our auditions for the 24-25 school year will be April 22, 23 and 24 from 6pm-8pm at HMS.


@ChaseKnebel struck out 8, allowing just 4 hits in a complete game shutout as the Bulldogs defeated Jerseyville 7-0 today in conference play. Knebel also drove in 3 runs in the victory. Korte, Bircher, and Ottensmeier each had two hits. Highland moves to 13-0-1 on the season
