The Highland Girls Soccer team defeated Metro East in a Varsity matchup last night with a final score of 3-1. This brings their record to 10-10. Goals came from Emig Schlarmann, and Beard.

The HHS Senior Breakfast is Wednesday, May 8th from 6:45 AM-7:40 AM at the HHS Pavilion. Enjoy free food and fun with the Class of 2024!
HHS Choirs, directed by Mrs. Shannon Wesselmann, put on a fantastic spring concert! Best of luck to all of the seniors who were showcased in the traditional final song- "Corner of the Sky".

SOFTBALL UPDATES: 5/6 and 5/9
We would like to thank Crystal & Ryan from the Highland Branch of Scott Credit Union for presenting the “CU 4 Reality” program on Thursday. 130 HHS students participated in the program.
@TreyKoishor went 3 for 3 with a grand slam and 6 RBIs to lead the Bulldogs to a 12-10 win today over Chatham Glenwood. @ChaseKnebel added three hits and @OttensmeierJake had a hit and 2 RBIs in the victory. Riggs, Decker, Bircher, and Korte had one RBI apiece.
Lady Bulldog Sofball was defeated by Calhoun 8-2 in a rain shortened affair after 5 completed innings. With Highland up 2-1 on an RBI single from Abby Shultz and a solo HR from Lucy Becker, Calhoun scored six runs in the fourth to take the lead. Anna Fey, Becker, and Jordan Bircher each collected two hits on the day. Highland is now 10-11 on the year and takes on Jerseyville on Monday at 4:30 PM for Alumni Night and the Honoring of Coach Glenn Nicholls.
Lady Bulldog Sofball lost to Belleville West 9-2. Abby Shultz and Lucy Becker had 3 hits and Anna Fey had 2 hits. Jordan Bircher had a SAC fly RBI and Abby Shultz with an RBI. Alex Shultz walked and singled and Bailey Mettler doubled. The team is 10-10 and plays Calhoun at 2:30.
