HHS School counselors visit English IV classrooms each fall to speak with students about creating resumes and cover letters. Here, they are working with seniors in Mr. Makarewicz's room. Students use these resumes and cover letters to apply for jobs, colleges, and scholarships. It's just another way our counselors and teachers ensure HHS students are ready for life after high school.

Varsity Volleyball defeated Collinsville in 2 sets tonight to begin the season.
They will have their home opener Tuesday 8/29 vs Carlinville. Go Bulldogs!

HHS is looking for a host family for an exchange student during the 23-24 school year. The host family must be living in the HCUSD #5 school district . If you and your family have any interest, please contact the high school office. Thank you!

With the high temperatures, we will have changes throughout the week. Please be flexible and work with coaches as best as you can. With that being said, the schedule attached is updated. Still waiting on golf changes. We will update as we have it.

Students in Mrs. Jones’ Culinary Occupations I class do a close read on knives and cutlery as they complete descriptors of various cuts. Later in the week they will put what they have learned to practice as they are assessed in the foods lab.
