
Tonight the Highland Choirs performed their Spring Choral Concert. Congratulations to all of the performers from the HMS Choir, Mixed Choir, A cappella Choir and Combined HHS Choir. A special thank you to all of our seniors for your time and talent. You were outstanding tonight!

On Saturday, Varsity Softball defeated Belleville West 11-1. Sophia Donoho picked up the W throwing 5 innings of 2 hit ball striking out 11. Kelly Fuller was 2/3 HR. Sophia was 2/3. Abi Schultz 2/2, 4 RBI, 2B, Sac fly. Maggie Grohmann 2/3, with 2 Runs scored.


Congratulations to the Varsity Softball team on a 3-0 weekend at Triad. On Saturday, Highland defeated Calhoun 1-0. Abi Schultz drove in Maci Mile's in the bottom of the 7th. Alex Schultz was 1/3 with 2 SB & a BB. Maci Miles 1/3 & SB. Kaitlyn Wilson pitched a no-hitter!

Highland High School seniors received their Class of 2023 yard signs today which will begin to spring up around town before graduation on May 19. Thanks to The Highland Optimist Club for helping offset the cost of signs. We appreciate your continued support of Highland CUSD #5.

Varsity softball defeats Waterloo 5-4 on a walk off HR by Maddie Trauernicht in the 8th inning. Maddie was 3/3 on the day with a HR 2B & BB. Grohmann was 2/4 with and RBI. Alex Schultz 2/4 RBI, 2 Runs scored & 3 SB. Dant 1/4 HR. Sophia Donoho got the W, pitching 8 innings.


JV softball defeats Waterloo 13-3.
Highland Junior Varsity Bulldogs tallied 13 hits. Becker,Hunter, Nikonovich, and Bircher all had multiple hits for Highland Junior Varsity Bulldogs. Becker went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Highland Junior Varsity Bulldogs in hits.

Congratulations to the cast and crew of the spring musical for scoring a best musical nomination AND best supporting actor nominations for Hollyn Diamond and Gavin Coleman from the St Louis High School Musical Theater Awards. Our tech crew also got a nomination for outstanding technical execution!
