Mrs. Ginger Kabureck, PE teacher, shared an inspiring story today about her Athletic PE class who were instructed to run their fastest mile; no easy task.
One student, Isaac, was struggling a little finishing up lap 3, but he wasn't going to quit. While everyone else was finished and waiting, several students, Caiden, Blasé & Blane did not want to see their classmate run alone so they joined Isaac for a final lap.
Kabureck asked the boys permission to share their story and she said it was awesome to see this level of "sportsmanship, friendship, and empathy out of teenagers!!" She shared, "Days like today are the best!!"

Students in Mrs. Case's Public Speaking class work in small groups to breakdown delivery methods and emphasis points for an upcoming speech. Public Speaking is a Dual Credit course offered in concert with SWIC allowing students to earn college credit while in high school.

Thanks to all who attended our College and Career Parent Night. Shout out to our admissions panel representatives from SWIC, SWIC Tech Ed, SIUE and Maryville University.
