Boys tennis won both matches today, 6-3 against Carbondale and 7-2 vs Althoff for a 5th place finish in a 16 team bracket. We had wins from all varsity today including an undefeated day from Grant Fleming and Will Lindsco with 6 combined wins at #1 and #2 singles and #1 doubles.
In game 2, Varsity Softball beat Rochester 6-2. Alex Schultz 3/3 RBI, R, SB. Maci Miles 2 BB, 2R, SB. Karli Dant 2/2 2B, BB, R, 2 SB. Kaitlyn Wilson picked up the W going 7 innings 9 K & 0 BB, 4 H. The Lady Bulldogs are now 14-5-1 on the season and head to Triad on Monday.
JV Softball defeated Father McGivney 21-4 today. Bulldogs tallied 15 hits. Newingham, Sexton, Bircher, Bradford, and Kruse all had multiple hits. Newingham was 4/4 with 5 RBI. Pollard with 2 RBI. Kruse with the win on the mound. JV is 11-6 overall and takes on Triad on Monday.
Varsity Softball beat Normal Community 7-4 in their early game at Rochester. Bulldogs totaled 13 hits, led by Maci Miles & Alex Schultz with 3 each. Miles had 2 RBI. Schultz 2 SB. Anna Fey was 1/1 with 2 RBI. Maggie Grohmann 2 hits, 2B, RBI. Donoho with the win, striking out 4.
