JV lost 5-4 in the Belleville tournament. Tourney record 2-1. The Bulldogs racked up seven hits on the day. Wilson, Becker, and l Bircher each had multiple hits for Highland. Bircher, Becker, and Wilson each managed two hits to lead Highland Junior Varsity Bulldogs.

The HHS Softball Team honored senior exchange student Guilia Florian as she completed her studies at HHS. She was honored with an American Flag that flew over the Highland Softball Fields and a certificate signed by the team to take back to Italy. It was her first year playing ball and she batted .292 with 7 hits and 7 RBI. We are so proud of her and she will be missed by all.

Congratulations to the Highland Varsity Baseball team on a walk off win tonight vs Effingham 2-1. Landon Gunter has the winning RBI on a single and Chase Knebel got the win with 7 strong innings on the mound.

Varsity softball defeated Mt Vernon 7-0. Sophia Donoho pitched the shutout striking out 12, allowing 2 hits. Anna Fey had a 2 RBI pinch hit double. Maggie Grohmann was 1/3 with a Triple. Karli Dant was 1/3 with a Triple & RBI. Alex Schultz was 1/4 with RBI, 3 Stolen Bases.

JV softball defeated Breese Central 8-5 and are on to the championship vs Belleville East. Bailey Mettler led with two hits in three at bats. Highland Junior Varsity Bulldogs didn't commit a single error in the field. The Bulldogs stole ten bases during the game. Congrats!

Boys Tennis had a nice start in the doubles portion of the MVC Tennis Tournament with two third place finishes by 1 doubles (Grant Fleming/Will Lindsco) and 3 doubles (Thomas Mitchell/Bryant Smith) and a fourth place at 2 doubles ( Breckin Box/Jack Meyer) 🐾🎾🐾
