
The HMS boys bowling team had a solid day at the tournament finishing in 6th place. This is their highest finish since 2019 when they also finished in 6th place. Tyler Driscoll excelled for the boys finishing in 29th place while the Dyna Lentz excelled for the girls finishing in 28th place. Way to go!

Good luck to the 8th grade volleyball team as they play in the Salem Regional against Centralia at 6pm. If they win they will play immediately after that game in the championship at 7pm. Go Dawgs!

Cheerleading tryouts for the 2023-24 school year are set. Please make sure you have a physical on file with the nurse and register at the athletic website.



7 Black Science students used the scientific method to problem solve which tower design will create the tallest freestanding tower. Their tools were limited to 20 straws and the use of scissors.





Team 8 Red celebrated 20 people who completed all their homework the last two weeks. Great job, folks! 👍🏻😁

Here are the students we honored with our Positive Pup Award this week. Keep up the great work!



Today at the SIJHSAA Regional at St. Clair Bowling Lanes the boys bowling team finished in 9th place and qualified for state next weekend. Also, moving on from the girls team are Dyna Lentz who finished 6th and Teagan Barr who finished 7th. Both girls qualified as individuals for next weekends state tournament held at the St. Clair Bowling Lanes. Congratulations to our bowlers!

Highland High School and Middle School Snowball students worked hard to host a kids/parents night out at HMS tonight! Kids tie dyed shirts, got tattoos (temporary), and even had a snowball fight!





6th Grade enjoyed a fun trivia party to end 3rd quarter.




Team 8 red went to the YMCA for their third quarter VIP field trip. We think they had fun. 😃 Keep up the good work, folks!
