The 8th grade Lady Bulldogs opened up the Gillespie Tournament with a big win against Calhoun 3-2 behind the solid pitching of Emma Madson. Leading the way batting for the ladies was Piper Duffin, Charley Leonard and Keegan Schaible each with a hit on the day with Duffin driving in a run. The ladies move on to the semi-finals tomorrow against Gillespie at noon. Way to go!

Congratulations to both the Lady Bulldog softball teams who both beat Collinsville today. The 7th grade won 16-0 while the 8th grade won 17-2. Way to go ladies!

The 8th grade Lady Bulldogs get a quality win against O'Fallon Carriel in their season opener 3-1. Emma Madson struck out 12 while giving up a run. Lexi Ellis, Tenley Henkhaus and Piper Duffin each drove in a run. and Charley Leonard went 3 for 4 on the day. Way to go ladies

Our HMS Student Ambassadors are ready for our 6th grade orientation tomorrow! We can't wait to meet our new 6th graders!
We will have two additional days this week to pick up Chromebooks for middle school and high school students. Chromebooks can be picked up in the HMS Library on Thursday from 3 pm to 7 pm and Friday from 8 am to 1 pm. Both the student and a parent/guardian must sign the HCUSD5 Chromebook Agreement (https://highlandcusd5.org/chromesign). Chromebooks for new enrollments will be available on the first day of school.
