Congrats to the 6 Red Rock Award winners for April! 🎉🎉

Today, we recognized these Positive Pups for showing their PRIDE! A teacher nominated each student for reasons such as consistently participating in class, including others, demonstrating grit and determination, and bringing positivity to the classroom. Keep up the great work!

HMS' Red Carpet Dance:
The HMS Student Council would like to remind you of tomorrow's Red Carpet!! The dance is in the HMS gymnasium on Friday, May 2nd from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., with doors opening at 5:45 p.m. Please have your ticket the night of the dance for quicker entrance, but we will also have a record of who has paid in case you misplace it. At the door, the cost is $8.00. Attire for the evening can be anything from casual to dressy but must be school-appropriate. Also, costumes and large bags/backpacks are not allowed. Students will enjoy the music being played by DJ Silverbac, along with some free refreshments . . . cookies and drinks. There will also be a small concession stand available with drinks and candy. We will have a photo booth available as well. Photos will be $1.00 per sheet .
On the night of the dance, students may be dropped off by the HMS gym lobby any time between 5:45 - 6:30 p.m. The doors will close at 6:30 p.m. and there will be no admittance after this time. Reminder, all students must be in attendance for at least half of the day, or more, in order to attend the dance Friday evening. If a student does not attend school, they will not be allowed entry to the dance. Students are not allowed to leave during the duration of the dance unless a parent/guardian has provided a written note to the office before the start of the dance. At the end of the evening, students will need to be picked up promptly at 8:00 p.m. by an adult and students are not allowed to walk to another location from the dance.
We are looking forward to a wonderful evening with the students of HMS.

We had a great day visiting our 5th grade students at Grantfork and Highland Elementary today. Our student ambassadors took time answering questions and discussing life at HMS! They did an amazing job!

Attention all parents/guardians of current 5th Grade students. We will host an Incoming 6th Grade Parent Orientation Night on Thursday, May 1st, at 6:00 pm in the HMS Plaza. During this event, we'll provide a brief presentation highlighting our academic programs and opportunities for your child to get involved at HMS. We recommend parking in the large South Lot and entering through the Gym Lobby doors.

Due to the incoming weather we are canceling the Track meet for today!
In addition we are canceling practice for today as well!

Congratulations to the Team 8Black students that received the 3 Musketeers candy award for always supporting their classmates.
