I just want to thank the Madison County Historical Society and Dr. Daiber for allowing the opportunity for such an amazing presentation between Thomas Jefferson and John Adams today with our 8th grade students. They will be performing at the Wildey theater in Edwardsville tonight. Thank you to Kurt Smith and Michael Lepage for their outstanding portrayal of our Founding Fathers.

Thank you to the Highland Business and Professional Women's Club for giving our 8th graders a little dose of Reality this morning. Students used their paycheck to pay for housing, transportation, utilities and insurance and may have more appreciation for sacrifices made on their behalf.

Big thanks to the River Bend Astronomy Club! Sixth grade students enjoyed using the telescopes and learning about stars and black holes.
