Highland CUSD No. 5 will not be in session tomorrow, Thursday, February 24 due to potential sleet and freezing rain tomorrow morning. The timing of this precipitation requires a decision to be made on the forecast either tonight or early morning. Either way, a decision has to be made on the forecast. To give families and staff the maximum time to plan, I always prefer to make decisions the night before. I fully expect to be back in session on Friday. Enjoy your 5th emergency day, we have one more if needed:)

It was a buzzer beater victory tonight as the Highland Bulldogs defeated the Waterloo Bulldogs 48-45. The boys head to Cahokia to play Jerseyville on Wednesday in IHSA Regionals. Let’s go Dogs! ❤️🏀🐾
