In Bulldog Nation, it’s always a day meant for the dogs around here, but yesterday was extra special as we spent the day raising money and collecting items for the Metro East Humane Society. The evening featured the varsity dance and cheerleading teams showing off on the floor. And your varsity boys basketball team closed out the night with a win as they beat the Triad Knights 55-54. In boys basketball tonight, Highland defeated Triad at the freshman level. Triad took the JV game. In varsity, Highland defeated Triad with a final score of 55-54. Way to go Dogs!
Some of the Macbeth “ugly sweaters” created in Mrs. Huson’s English II class this week as we wrapped up the unit. The sweaters depict Macbeth’s “split personality” over the course of the play.

HHS Show Choir performed several numbers this evening. Their singing and choreography were impressive as they wowed the crowd and the Show Choir Band sounded fantastic.

Dr. Becker and Ms. Boscolo meet with Athletic Council and Principals Advisory Committee members to discuss end of semester plans and activities this week. These leadership groups meet regularly to help improve school culture at HHS.
