HHS Volleyball Scrimmage this evening. The team travels to Collinsville Thursday for the season opener. Home opener is next Thursday against Granite City.


Students in Mr. Hamilton’s PE class get some activity by walking, playing basketball, and passing a volleyball. Hamilton begins his first year at HHS after being at Highland Primary for several years. He also coaches the HHS Girls Basketball team.

The high school will be handing out parking tags on Thursday, August 26 and Friday, August 27. If you have not yet purchased tag, you can pay $75.00 at MySchoolBucks or bring a check to the office. It is required you have a tag to park in the high school parking lot.

The girls golf tournament at O’Fallon has been cancelled for Tuesday, August 24.
The tennis match at Triad has been rained out.
Students in Ms. Offerman’s Intro to Ag class talk about the upcoming Farm Progress Show where they plan to take a field trip. Offerman begins her first year at HHS as a teacher and FFA sponsor. She student taught at HHS last fall.



Students in Mrs. Raymond’s Industrial Ed I class review various safety rules and regulations for the shop. Raymond begins her first year at HHS after teaching two years in Alton. She is also an FFA sponsor.




Mr. Oliver, HHS English Teacher, works with English I students on the writing process today as they learn about revisions by adding, deleting, and reordering their writing samples. Mr. Oliver is new to HHS and has previously taught in Springfield District 186.



Mr. Elledge conducting vision screenings for his driver's education class. Students are excited and anxious to get their driving permits.
