An AED is a portable device that can send an electric shock to restore normal heart rhythm during sudden cardiac arrest. The machine will be located on the second floor near the library. An AED was also donated to the school in 2017 and is located near the scoreboard between multiple sports fields at the high school.

Dear HHS Students & Families,
A quick reminder that Thursday, October 8th is the end of the 1st Quarter. Please see the attached schedules for details. Quarter 2 begins on Tuesday, October 13th.
Additionally, please encourage your student, whether in-person or remote, to continue to complete all work and assignments before the quarter ends next week. Quarter 1 is 40% of the semester grade. If your student has missing assignments or 0s listed in PowerSchool, please check with your student on what they need to do to get assignments turned in for credit. Unfortunately, certain missing homework and assignments may be overdue to the point that no credit will be awarded this late in the quarter. You can check your student's grades in PowerSchool for more details https://ps.highlandcusd5.org/public/.
Finally, students have an 8th Hour Homeroom where they are able to complete homework, study, and get extra help from teachers if needed. Please encourage them to use this time to get work done. Thanks for your continued support!

Congratulations to our senior tennis players Hannah, Sydney, Jenna and Brianna! It may have rained on your match tonight, but you rocked it! Thank you for all you have done for Highland Tennis! ❤️🎾🖤

The new HHS Storage Building is complete. The Building Trades class, led by Mr. Deibert, did a fantastic job. It took longer than expected due to COVID, but perseverance paid off. We plan to utilize this space for sports, clubs, and other groups as needed.
