
@GarrinStone had three hits and his first varsity home run today to lead the Bulldogs to an 8-3 win in game one of a twin billing against Marion. Highland scored 5 runs in the 9th inning to secure the extra inning win. @ChaseKnebel added 3 hits and 2 RBIs in the game.


Lady Bulldog Softball battled hard Saturday falling to Johnston City 1-0 in a pitchers dual over 8 innings (ITB). Highland pitcher Kaitlyn Wilson was dominant all day tallying 14 strikeouts and only 5 hits. Tallying hits for the Bulldogs were Jordan Bircher, Abby Schultz, Lucy Becker, Hailey Ritz, and Bailey Mettler. The team is now 6-6 and hosts Waterloo on Monday at 4:30pm in an MVC matchup.

HHS CEO Students participated in the Investor Breakfast. They were on a panel answering questions and gave a 30 second pitch of their individual businesses. We are so proud and impressed with the growth they have experienced in this program

The first HHS Color Guard Open Gym was a success! Thank you to all students who came out to try something new and to parents for supporting them! Our auditions for the 24-25 school year will be April 22, 23 and 24 from 6pm-8pm at HMS.


@ChaseKnebel struck out 8, allowing just 4 hits in a complete game shutout as the Bulldogs defeated Jerseyville 7-0 today in conference play. Knebel also drove in 3 runs in the victory. Korte, Bircher, and Ottensmeier each had two hits. Highland moves to 13-0-1 on the season


Lady Bulldog Softball topped Jerseyville 5-2 for an MVC win improving their record to 6-5. Bailey Mettler ripped a double in the 4th driving in three runs to take a lead 3-2. Sisters Alex Schultz and Abby Schultz each collected two hits for Highland. The Lady Bulldogs pounded 9 hits on the day with Jordan Bircher, Lucy Becker, Kaitlyn Wilson and Hailey Ritz all reaching safely. In the 7th, Ritz had a SAC bunt RBI and Wilson drove in a run to add insurance. Wilson pitched a solid complete game striking out 6. The team travels to Johnston City on Saturday for a 10 AM JV and then Varsity game.

--Freshmen and Seniors have a non-attendance day, College and Career Day, on April 16 and should not attend school.
--Sophomores will be released around 12:00 pm when all tests are completed.
--Juniors will be released around 11:00 am when all tests are completed.
--Lunch will be available if needed, and buses run at regular times.
--Students staying the entire day will report to Commons.
--ISA is a graduation & ISBE requirement- 3 sections, 40 min. on Chromebooks

Lady Bulldog Softball defeated Mascoutah 8-1 today with Kaitlyn Wilson dominaning in the circle striking out 11. Abby Shultz went 1-3 with a two run blast to left field in the 1st. Lucy Becker and Hailey Ritz each had two hits and RBIs. Taylor Newingham, Anna Fey, Alex Schultz, and Holly Sexton all had RBI hits on the day with Jordan Bircher also grabbing a single. The Lady Bulldogs are now 5-5 and host Jerseyville on Wednesday at 4:30.
