HHS would like to congratulate Madison Emig for being recognized as a Commended Student in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program. This a tremendous accomplishment, as she finished at the top of all students who took the PSAT. Congrats to Madison.

It's time for our weekly Throwback Thursday. In honor of marching band season, here's Spanish teacher Señora Cope with her family at a band competition at the old Busch Stadium.

Carbondale beats Highland in three sets. The Lady Bulldogs finish 4th Place on the day at the Charleston Tournament.

Highland tops Charleston with a 19-17 win in set 3. They will battle Carbondale next in the 3rd place game.


Mattoon beats Highland 2-1 in a close match. Bulldogs now taking on Charleston.

Highland Volleyball defeats Decatur MacArthur in two sets at the Charleston Tourney. Next up is Mattoon at 11:30 am.

Highland falls 25-15 in the 3rd set to Triad. They will be back in action Saturday at the Charleston Tournament.
Highland takes set two, 29-27, in an incredibly well played hard fought set. The third set is coming up next to decide the winner in MVC action.
