Earlier this week, seniors participated in Senator Jason Plummer’s Youth Advisory Council with students from area schools at Kaskaskia College. They learned about leadership, heard from guest speakers, and created mock policies to present. The group will travel to Springfield next semester. HHS Guard: Open gym is starting Wednesday January 10th - April 10th from 6pm-8pm at the HMS Pups Pen. This event is open to anyone and it is free of charge. Pick up an interest form at the information desk in the commons and return it to the office.

Members of the Highland High School LEO club shopped Saturday morning for the family they adopted through the HACSM food pantry. LEO stands for Leadership, Experience, and Opportunity. This is just one more way HHS students support their community!

A big time comeback falls just short as the Highland Lady Bulldogs drop a close one to Edwardsville 42-36. The ladies will be back in action Friday night vs Mascoutah at 6 PM at home.
