JV softball was defeated by Mascoutah 12-5. JV Bulldogs racked up 9 hits in the game. Bircher and Nikonovich each managed 2 hits to lead JV. Hunter led Highland with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with six stolen bases.
Varsity softball defeated Mascoutah 8-4 tonight. Grohmann, Dant & Abby Schultz led the offense with 2 hits a piece. Maci Miles had a hit and 2 RBI & a BB.
It's the first week of MVC contests for baseball and softball! Come out to cheer these teams on as we begin conference play! 🐾❤️🐾

Congratulations to the Girls Track and Field Team who placed 2nd at Jersey Relays tonight! The girls took 1st place in distance medley, shot put, discus, pole vault, 4x800, 4x200, and 4x1600! Congratulations! ❤️🐾❤️

Highland Winter Percussion had yet another successful weekend of growth. This past weekend we traveled to perform in the CSPA Championships (the local winter Drumline circuit). We went up about 4 points from our previous weekend which is HUGE growth. Congratulations! ❤️🐾❤️

-Utilize a comprehensive school counseling program to address academic, career and personal/social development for all students.
-Support a caseload of students with diverse academic, social/emotional and career needs.
-Work with a data driven school counseling program where data is collected and analyzed to guide the programs direction and emphasis
-Consult and collaborate with all stakeholders to provide support and services appropriate to students.
-Work collaboratively with other school counselors, administration, and related service staff in order to support students.
-Track student progress towards graduation
-Coordination of assessments as assigned
-Attend IEP or problem solving meetings as appropriate
-Assist in planning and attending evening events such as Freshman Day, College planning, Financial Aid, 8th grade orientation and Honors night.
-Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Professional Educators License with a School Counselor endorsement

Girls Track and Field placed 5th in Marion tonight with notable 2nd place finishes from Lauren Maas in the high jump, Emma Henschen in long jump, Maddie Dortch in the 800 and the 4x800 team. Larissa Taylor and Cheyenne Choat also placed 3rd in shot put and pole vault! ❤️🐾🥳
