
Team 8 Black acknowledged students who earned Honor Roll and High Honor Roll in the 3rd quarter. We are proud of them and all their classmates who continue to work hard to finish the school year strong.

Thank you to the BEA and the Rotary for funding our GaGa Pit Project at HMS. A big thank you to Claire Geiger's high school classes for the construction of the pit. The students are excited to use the new game in our physical education classes.







Our HMS Ambassadors did a great job speaking to our incoming 6th graders for the next school year today!

Congratulations to HMS golfer Mia Emig who won the Girls Regional Championship today shooting a 39 for the day! She also qualifies for STATE! Way to go!


The golfers did great at regionals today! Parker Logsdon and Alexandria Pokojski both qualified for state today. Parker shot a 45 for 8th place and Alexandria shot a 43 to place second. Way to go and good luck at STATE!

Here are the students who received our Positive Pup from last week. These students were recognized for a variety of reasons like working hard, doing the right thing, or showing kindness towards others. Keep up the great work!

The HMS Student Council would like to announce their upcoming Glow Dance!! The Glow Dance is in the HMS gymnasium on Friday, May 5th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., with doors opening at 5:45 p.m. Tickets go on sale Monday, May 1st through Thursday, May 4th, during lunch hours. Tickets cost $5.00 before the event if paid during lunch hours. Please have your ticket the night of the dance for quicker entrance, but we will also have a record of who has paid in case you misplace it. At the door, the cost is $7.00 with a canned food item or $8.00 without a canned food item.
Attire for the evening can be anything from casual to dressy but must be school appropriate. Also, costumes and large bags/backpacks are not allowed. Students will enjoy the music being played by DJ Silverbac, along with some refreshments . . . cookies and drinks. There will also be a very small concession stand available with drinks and candy, along with glow items for sale. We will have a photo booth available as well. Photos will be $1.00 per sheet or $5.00 for unlimited sheets. We are looking forward to a wonderful evening with the students of HMS.
On the night of the dance, students may be dropped off by the HMS gym lobby any time between 5:45 - 6:30 p.m. The doors will close at 6:30 p.m. and there will be no admittance after this time. Students are not allowed to leave during the duration of the dance unless a parent/guardian has provided a written note to the office prior to the start of the dance. At the end of the evening, students will need to be picked up promptly at 8:00 p.m. by an adult and students are not allowed to walk to another location from the dance.
