Some of our 6th-8th grade artist were hand selected to represent HMS and to have their art piece showcased at Highland’s Art in the Park. Check out their amazing work!




Both our cross country teams will be competing in the State Finals next weekend in DuQuoin. Congratulations to Coach Frey and Vance!

Congratulations to the HMS Boys Cross Country team for finishing in 3rd place and running a great meet today. Medalists were Elliot 6th place and Walker in 8th place. Go Dawgs!


Congratulations to our HMS Girls Cross Country team for winning the Salem Regional today! Great effort by the ladies! Medalists were Katie 4th place, Kendyl 6th place and Josie 9th place! Way to go! Regional Champions 2022! Go Dawgs!

All PE classes are beginning their Bowling curriculum soon. Permission slips were sent home a few weeks ago. The signed slips money and are due by this coming Tuesday, October 11, 2022. There are still a lot of students that have not turned them in. If you have not seen this, please talk to your student about this. Thank you!
