Mr. Frey and Mrs. Taylor's 6th grade students participated in an Avenger Challenge Breakout Room today during Social Studies.
A few lucky students on Team 8 Black received "Lotto Bucks". Students can earn extra entries into the drawing by following the VIP principles and being nominated by their teachers. The drawings will take place on Tuesdays during our Team Advisory Meeting in the Plaza
This morning we awarded our first Positive Pups of the 2021-22 school year. These students have gone above and beyond to show true Pup PRIDE. Keep up the great work!!!
HMS will be participating in the Battle of the Schools contest in September. Prizes are awarded to the top schools.

All baseball and softball games have been cancelled for the day due to the heat index!
8th grade softball split games today at the Edwardsville Invite. The ladies beat O'Fallon Carriel in the first game 15-0. In the second game against Gillespie the ladies were down 8-1 and fought back but ended up losing a heartbreaker 12-11. Their record stands at 7-2.
The 8th grade baseball team got a big win tonight over Waterloo 8-7. Way to go Dogs!
