Congratulations to our cross country teams on a solid day at the Edwardsville Invitational held on the SIUE campus. The boys finished in 8th place while the girls finished in 11th place. Top finishers for HMS were Katie Fenton 6th place with a time of 12:53.10, Morgan Greenwald 7th place with a time of 12:59.10 and Easton Koeneman 25th place with a time of 12:35.70. Way to go!

The 8th grade Bullgog baseball team loses a heartbreaker at GCS Stadium to Collinsville in the bottom of the 7th inning 8-7.

Congratulations to the 7th grade baseball Bulldogs who come from behind for an exciting 9-8 win over Collinsville at home. The Bulldogs finish with a four game winning streak, an 8-5 overall record and finish 5-4 in MEAC conference play to finish in 5th place. Way to go boys!

The cross country teams had a great night last night at the Salem Invitational. The 6th grade girls brought home a second place plaque while the 7th & 8th grade girls brought home a third place plaque. Race Champions for the Bulldogs was Retta Frey and Alex Reckmann in the 6th grade races. Other medalists in the 6th grade race was Paige Korte with a 6th place, Norah Zobrist with a 12th place and Alaina Zobrist with a 23rd place for the ladies. For the 6th grade boys Vaughn Hbaerer finished in 24th place. In the 7th & 8th races for the girls Katie Fenton finished in 3rd place, Morgan Greenwald 5th place and Melia Bowman with a 28th place. For the boys in the 7th & 8th grade races Wade Nehrt finished in 27th place. In the open races Evan Alexander finished in 6th place for the boys and for the girls Riley Chilton finished in 5th place and Cathy Thomas in 12th place. Way to go!
