The Lady Bulldogs fought hard in the Regional Championship game that went back and forth. The ladies had the lead 16-10 at the half. The teams traded baskets in the third quarter and HMS held a 22-21 lead heading into the 4th quarter. The game was exciting in the fourth quarter with the teams trading points and the ladies were tied after regulation 29-29. Both teams fought hard in the overtime but Triad came out on top 33-29 to win the championship at home. The 7th grade Lady Bulldogs finish the season with an impressive 20-6 record. Tremendous effort tonight by the ladies! Go Dawgs!

In the 8th grade contest the Bulldogs held a slim 12-11 lead after one quarter and got into foul trouble in the second quarter and were down 23-15 at the half. The Bulldogs tightened the game up after three and cut the lead to two points going into the 4th quarter. In the fourth quarter the game went back and forth and Trent Kronk iced the game with two big free throws with 11 seconds to go. The Bulldogs come out on top with a key win over Carriel 41-38. Leading the way for the Bulldogs was Trey Kronk with 16 points and Trent Kronk with 14 points. Go Dawgs!

The 7th grade boys basketball Bulldogs had a key conference match up with O'Fallon Carriel at home today and came away with an impressive 44-30 win behind 21 points from Grayson Stone, 13 points from Vance Weber and 6 points from Boston Gelly. Go Dawgs!
