Second graders on a field trip to Marcoot Dairy Farm.
One “CHEESY” Field Trip!
2nd Grade students just took an amazing field trip to Marcoot Jersey Creamery! There students were able to see how the cows were milked in their new robotics barn. We also saw how they turned the milk into cheese. They even let us taste some curds! One of the favorite parts for many of the students was seeing the baby calves!! A few were just born less than a month ago!!! So cute! Finally we were treated with some of Marcoot’s famous tasty ice cream!!
2nd Grade Magic of Reading Day!
Students were treated to an awesome and educational journey today! Based on the book series Magic Tree House, each teacher gave a 35 minute presentation to learn more about various topics covered in a few of the books. Students rotated classrooms all day to learn about the Amazon Rain Forest, Magic, tornados, The Titanic, Civil War, China, and the First Olympics! Thank you teachers for the hard work and preparation that went into this magical day for students!
