Yesterday was Letter K in our ABC Character Countdown! We wrote "Keys to Success" to share with lower grades. First graders pair with Kindergarten students to pass on advice for next year.

Bus 60 has just loaded and left the parking lot at 4:05. We expect busses 66 and 63 to leave Alhambra around 4:15 today.
We are currently under a tornado warning in Alhambra. Students are safely sheltering in the hallways. Busses will most likely be delayed until the warning has lifted.
Take the Challenge closing ceremony today included the winning class dumping slime on Mrs. Tolbert!!!!

Third grade and Kindergarten teamed up today to hunt Exercise Easter Eggs in P.E.! Thanks Mrs. Luitjohan for making our P.E. egg-stra special today! 🐣
Over 100 years ago, the Titanic sank. Since then, it has been an interesting topic to study for all, including 1st and 3rd graders! These classes partnered up to study a non-fiction article. We used reading questioning strategies to deepen our knowledge about the Titanic!

Garden Camp was a success! The kids loved planting tomatoes, cucumbers, potatoes, cauliflower, and peppers! 🍅 🥒 🌶 🥔

After studying the inventor of the assembly line, Henry Ford, Mrs. Kronk’s class got to explore and actually sit in 2 antique ford cars! A big thank you to Grandpa Tom!
