First graders in Mrs. Kronk's room practiced sight words and studied word parts by reading the story "What Will Fat Cat Sit On?" Students read and practiced in class and did a puppet play with the story. The story was put on Mrs. Kronk's Class YouTube channel!

On Friday, we celebrated Grandparent's Day with Bingo and popcorn. The students showed their appreciation for the grandparents with a sweet song. We love our grandparents!




We celebrate kids who get Gotcha Tickets each morning! Gotcha Tickets are given to kids who were showing the VIP word of the month or just caught doing something good. These cool kids got Gotcha Tickets this week! Our VIP word this month is responsibility.

Alhambra Primary is pumped for the 19-20 school year! We love welcoming back our students with some fun music, high fives, and plenty of hugs. We were all so happy to see these familiar faces, and some new ones too. This year is off to a great start!
