Big thanks to Marianna Sterkis and Baille Dorsey for taking HHS Administration around today and showing them all of the different stations for Ag Safety Day. It's a great event for the HMS and St. Paul 6th Graders.

This Sunday- The CEO program is hosting their annual trade show: April 28th 12:00-3:00 pm at Old Herald Brewery in Collinsville. Students' will be displaying and selling their products. For more information check out @collinsvilletriadmaryvilleceo. Highland has six students participating: Reece Bellm, Megan Helm, Blase Kurwicki, Kylie Lawhorn, Jacob Lewis, and Jack Meyer.

Big Thanks to Jay & Kyle from Korte Meats for talking to Culinary Occ about BBQ competitions and demonstrating a competition smoker. They also showed how to make ribs from start to finish including ribs to taste. So yummy!!
Join us for Lady Bulldog Softball ALUMNI NIGHT on Monday, April 29th, as we take on Triad.
The Bulldogs defeated Jerseyville 8-2 today at Busch Stadium. @DeklanRiggs struck out 6 in 3 innings on the mound. @braxdon_d had 2 hits and an RBI in the victory. Zane Korte and Alex Howard each had a hit and an RBI. The Bulldogs moved to 20-1-1 on the season
Lady Bulldog Softball dropped an MVC game to Mascoutah 4-3 on Wednesday in a close battle on the final play.
After trailing 3-0, Highland battled back to cut the lead to 4-3 in the 7th. With two outs and runners on 1st and 2nd in the final inning, Highland's Abby Shultz lined a pitch to deep right center that was caught to end the game spoiling the chance for a comeback.
Bailey Mettler led the team with two hits and an RBI on the day. Alex Shultz drove in a run on a bunt single in the 7th and Lucy Becker had an RBI single to right in the 6th. Elaina Tompkins walked twice.
Jordan Bircher, Holly Sexton, and Abby Shultz all had hits for Highland. Kaitlyn Wilson went the distance giving up 4 runs and striking out 5.
The Bulldogs host Triad on Monday at 4:30 PM in an MVC battle. All Lady Bulldog Softball players are invited to attend Alumni Night on Monday.
