8th Grade students at HMS worked in small groups to match compound inequality equations with their solutions and graphs and completed an absolute value break out room to crack the codes and review for an upcoming test.
Team 8 Black enjoyed a beautiful day in Springfield, IL visiting historic Lincoln sites. Students visited the Lincoln Museum, Lincoln's Home, the State Capitol, and Lincoln's Tomb.
Basketball tryout dates announced-All @HMS Gym Girls basketball tryouts will be held September 26, 27, and 29 from 5-7. Boys basketball tryouts will be held September 29 from 3-5 and September 30 from 5-7 for 7th graders only. The 8th grade tryouts will be at a later date due to baseball playing at State. *All students must be registered and have a current physical on file in order to tryout!
Students on Team 8 Black had a chance to look at Rorschach Inkblot Tests today in LA classes to preview content for their next short story, Flowers for Algernon.
