The Bulldog baseball teams play Mascoutah today. The 7th grade travels to Scheve Park to play the Braves and the 8th grade hosts the Braves in a conference matchup. It is also 8th grade recognition night for the boys. Go Dawgs!

The 8th grade baseball Bulldogs got a big win against Edwardsville Lincoln at home in a conference game 6-3. Alec Sterkis had two hits and runs batted in while pitching a solid game on the mound getting the win. Way to go!

The 8th grade Bulldogs hosted Roxana in a conference game today and came away with a 14-2 win. HMS would jump out to a 5-1 lead after one inning and coast to an easy win at home. Luke Winet and Beckett Spalding would each have two hits on the day with Winet driving in four runs on the day. Winet would also get the win on the mound going the distance striking out two. Way to go boys!

The 8th grade Lady Bulldogs softball team finishes up the regular season with an impressive 13-4 win at Alton today. Keegan Schaible went five for five on the day with Tenley Henkhaus driving in five runs on the day. The ladies raise their overall record to 13-4 and finish 11-2 in the conference. Way to go!

The 7th grade Lady Bulldogs softball team hosted the Alton Lady Redbirds and came away with a big 16-0 win in three innings. The ladies jumped out to a 10-0 lead after one inning and never looked back. Aubrielle Dunn, Harper Garlich and Abby Ulrich each had three hits to lead the way for the ladies. Garlich also had four runs batted in while Alyes Melton scored three runs. The ladies raise their record to 10-3 overall and finish 5-1 in conference play. Way to go ladies!

The cross country teams competed at the Granite City Invitational on Friday. Retta Frey had a solid day and ran a 12:39.82 to place 4th and Paige Korte placed 28th with a time of 13:37.66.  The Lady Bulldogs finished in 8th place with 212 team points.  The Bulldog boy runners finished in 11th place with 294 team points.  Alex Reckman was the leading runner for the Bulldogs, running a 12:02.47 to finish in 23rd place.  Way to go!
