
Congratulations to our girls basketball teams that they both beat Ofallon Fulton at home tonight. The 7th grade won a close one 26-22 while the 8th grade cruised to a 42-10 win. Go Lady Bulldogs!

Congratulations to our boys cross country team who finished in a strong 18th place at their first IESA State Finals! Way to go!

Congratulations to our girls cross country team who finished in 13th place at the IESA State Finals today. The top finishers for the ladies was Katie Fenton who finished in 37th place and Morgan Greenwald in 40th for the Lady Bulldogs! Way to go!

Congratulations to Caleb Knobloch who finishes 2nd at the IESA State Meet! What a great accomplishment and outstanding finish to the cross country season! What a way to represent HMS and the Bulldog Program! Go Dawgs!

Here are the last Q1 Positive Pups!!! Within these first 9 weeks of school, students have been recognized over 100 times for showing their PRIDE. Some examples of why students were recognized include helping and being kind to others, working hard on a tough assignment to put forth their best work, as well as finding and returning someone's lost field trip money. Keep up the great work HMS!

The 8th grade Lady Bulldogs jumped out to a 18-9 halftime lead behind some solid defensive play in the first half. The ladies ran away with the game in the second half outscoring the Crusaders 23-4 on their way to a 41-13 win. The ladies were led by Linden Klucker with 11 points and Ari Nanney with 10 points. The Lady Bulldogs run their record to 8-0 on the season and 4-0 in the conference.

The 7th grade Lady Bulldogs couldn't find their shooting touch until late in the game and their comeback fell just short. The Triad Crusaders jumped out to a 8-2 halftime lead and extended it to 15-3 until the last minute and half in the game when the Bulldogs put on a late rally that fell just short. Hayley Cooper led the ladies with 11 points followed by a point by Carley Lindsey. The ladies fall to 7-1 on the year and 3-1 in the conference.
