The kindergarten class recently completed their Shapes module in math. For a hands-on ending activity, the students created flat and solid shapes using toothpicks, marshmallows, and candy corn. They may or may not have eaten a few of their building materials :)

1st graders have been studying how animals have adapted to camouflage. This helps animals both hide and hunt. We decided that turkeys in the woods would need to hide from hunters so they would not be eaten on Thanksgiving!
