Due to weather, our Halloween parade at Alhambra Primary has been canceled today. Classroom parties will begin at 10:00. Parent volunteers are asked to arrive to school 5-10 minutes before the classroom parties begin. Students are asked NOT to wear their costumes to school, but we do encourage them to wear a Halloween shirt or the colors orange and black for Red Ribbon Week.

Due to the cold and wet forecast for tomorrow morning, we have decided to cancel the parade to the nursing homes for tomorrow. Since we don't have the parade, students will not wear costumes to school. We will still have the Halloween classroom parties starting at 10:00.

Mrs. Kronk’s class studied The Great Chicago Fire of 1871. The fire is the reason we celebrate fire prevention week! The students built a model of the city and wrote facts about the fire on flames.
